Also this year on the occasion of the patronal feast of San Prospero, our hills hosted the last stage of the Gamba d’Oro 2023, before the summer break. Accompanied by a pleasant climate, not excessively hot, 371 athletes tackled the two routes prepared by Podistica 2005 Cressa. Starting from the sports field, the 7 km route passed very quickly through the town centre, before arriving along the meadows to the north of the town and taking the Sant’ Antonino pedestrian ring. After passing Cascina Fornasina and the entire central wooded stretch, a sponging and refreshment area was made available to the athletes. Arrived at the church of Sant’ Antonino, final descent to join the 2km mini-tour route with the characteristic passage from Palazzo Imbrici.
